ICICI Bank shares were trading at ₹1,473.50 on the National Stock Exchange on Thursday afternoon, up 3.47 per cent or ₹49.40 from the previous close of ₹1,424.10, putting the stock within striking distance of its 52-week high of ₹1,480, touched on July 20, 2026. Traded volume stood at 142.19 lakh shares with a traded value of ₹2,081.12 crore by 12:09 pm.

The stock’s intraday range was ₹1,445.90 to ₹1,476.30. The broader market was supportive, with Bank Nifty trading above its key short- and long-term moving averages, reflecting strong sectoral momentum.

Bank allots nearly 1 lakh shares under employee schemes

Adding to the day’s disclosures, ICICI Bank filed two separate allotment notices with BSE and NSE this week. On November 3, the bank allotted 62,879 equity shares of face value ₹2 each under the ICICI Bank Employees Stock Option Scheme-2000. On November 5 — the current trading session — the bank allotted a further 36,937 equity shares of the same face value under the ICICI Bank Employees Stock Unit Scheme-2022. Both allotments were approved by two Executive Directors, acting under authority delegated by the Board at its October 21, 2023 meeting.

Market capitalisation stands at ₹10.58 lakh crore

The combined allotment of 99,816 shares represents a marginal addition to the bank’s outstanding equity. ICICI Bank’s total market capitalisation stood at approximately ₹10.58 lakh crore. The stock has returned about 10.26 per cent over the past year.
